I received a call from a woman named "Gazelle". She stated she and her Fiance' were of middle eastern decent but were from different countries. She stated that they were both wealthy and planned on getting married very soon. She said she had lied to her fiance' about her past and needed to pass a polygraph. She stated that money was no object as she knew she would not pass the exam but needed her Fiance' to be told she had.I explained to her that my integrity was not for sale and then she went into the hard sell. She told me that if her fiance' learns about her true past that this would bring shame to her family and she would be killed. I declined to even meet with her. I then learned she has contacted other examiners in my area. I have had similar solicitations in the past but never one as blatant as this. It almost seemed like a set-up by the anti folks. Hi Ted,I wouldn't doubt for a minute that it could be a set up...but you know what, if anyone takes the bait, maybe we will be able to get rid of a bad polygraph examiner that way. ------------------ Ralph Hilliard PolygraphPlace Owner & Operator http://www.polygraphplace.com

Ted,I had a guy literally fly his private plane into town just to meet me for an examination on fidelity, which he said on the phone was BS and needed to be established. When we met, same thing happened. He said, well OK, I have been cheating, and needed a test result saying he wasn't. Talk about hard sell. Same thing, money's no object, etc, etc. Don't know or care what happened, but he received no test or report from me. He was nice enough, though, to pay me for my time. I just think some people have too much free time on their hands... Jim IP: Logged |

I received a call late yesterday afternoon. The caller said that he was a security officer at a local university, and was about to take a polygraph test for a job at LAPD. He wanted to pay me to teach him how to pass the test.Considering the previous posts here, it seems that there may be a coordinated effort out there to discredit all of us. Beware!! Lou,...or it could be the way we are portrayed on TV shows and movies...and without anything contrary in the public eye, how else would someone see us. Unless they have actually seen us! Just a thought. Jim IP: Logged |

I'm in Denver,I received a call from a woman on a fidelity matter, supposedly prior to marrying her fiancee. She asked directly if she could pay more for a "negative result" and explained she did not believe she could pass the test for related reasons. I "interviewed" her over the phone and she admitted cheating on her BF with a man whom he did not suspect - though she denied the issue he suspected. Not sure if this was a troll - but I admonished the woman. Interesting there is a surge in these activities. I also found her use of the term "negative result" interesting - naive examinees don't usually talk like that. R IP: Logged | |
